TC will hold a <strong>4-day Summer Intensive Program</strong> for English
Teachers<br>
on <strong>July30-July31 &amp; August 2-Augaust3</strong>
(10:30am-4:30pm)<wbr>,2007 here at<br>
the Japan Campus in Suidobashi.<br>

Teachers College, Japan Campus is pleased to offer its 5th Intensive<br>
Program for Integrated English Teaching Skills. The program aims to<br>
provide a short specialized period of study for English teachers who<br>
work in Japanese schools. It is organized to assist teachers in<br>
exploring ways to develop integrated teaching skills, while also<br>
improving their English language ability and communicative skills.<br>
The participants will examine current English teaching issues in the<br>
Japanese context, and explore practical teaching ideas to motivate<br>
their students. Participants will finish the program with a range of<br>
teaching ideas they can experiment with immediately in their<br>
classrooms.<br>

8/2 Thu Professor Yvonne Murray Classroom reading practices for<br>
English text comprehension - Practical solutions<br>
8/3 FriProfessor Elite Olshtain Second language acquisition:<br>
Current issues on language learning in the classroom.<br>

Registration Procedure<br>
Fees: 42,000 yen(tax included). **37,800 yen for Groups of 2 or<br>
more participants from the same school** Please complete the<br>
registration form and return it to Teachers College, Tokyo by July<br>
15th, 2007.<br>
Space is limited to 35 participants, so register early to reserve<br>
your place!<br>
